What is the differences between a mini-beagle, a pocket beagle and a teacup beagle?
The development of the small beagle is under development.  Each breeder seems to have a favorite word to describe the puppies that they are producing.  To get a clear understanding of what you are purchasing, you need to ask the breeder these questions.

What are your breeding goals?  What size beagle are you  trying to produce?

Are all the dogs in your breeding program beagles?  Or do you cross them with other beagles like rat terriers or other small breeds?  Are the parents registered dogs and with what registery?

How big are the parents?  What is the range in adult size of the puppies that you are producing?

Do the parents have any health issues?

Once you know the answers to these basic questions, you will have an idea about what the word Mini- Beagle, Pocket Beagle or Teacup Beagle means to the breeder that you are talking with.

Do your homework?  There are many great breeders out there.  None of us sell our dogs to pet stores.  We are interested in placing our puppies in great, loving homes.  It is not about money.  It is about producing a great puppy that will bring love and comfort into the lives of their new owners.

Beware of puppy mills!  Beware of deals that sounds too good!  It is critical that puppies have great Moms and that they are raised in enriched environments with lots of human contact.
